Local 527 represents members of the Ontario Public Sector Employees Union (OPSEU) who work at 400 University Avenue, 505 University Avenue, 401 Bay Street 17th and 18th floors, 123 Edward St 2nd flo3r, 180 Dundas Street East 3rd floor, 10 Adelaide Street East, and 189 Yonge Street.

Local 527 members work in the following ministries and agencies: Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (MCI), Ministry of Labour (MOL), Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport (MTCS), MTCS's Ontario Heritage Trust (OHT) including OHT's Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre Centre, MOL's Ontario Labour Relations Board (OLRB), Pay Equity Hearings Tribunal, Human Rights Board of Inquiry, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeals Tribunal. There are also some Ministry of the Attorney General (MAG) staff at MOL and MCI Legal Branches, some MGS members, and information technology staff who work for Ministry of Education (MEDU) and Ministry of Transportation (MTO).

The Local has stewards and information stewards from the ministries and agencies it represents. There is always a need for additional stewards. Interested Local 527 members should speak to another steward or a member of the local executive.
